I'm very happy with the fronts of a 5.1 home cinema system. I must have been lucky with their initial placement as the soundstage was perfect the first time around, easily filling the entire width of the TV screen. These speakers are exceptionally good in the mids and highs, and even the TV dialogue has been improved so much that dialogue enhancement is now almost always disabled. I also think the bass coming from them is excellent, but the SVS subwoofer helps. These are probably the best speakers I've ever owned, especially considering the price (I paid $98 each) and I've been buying speakers for 50 years.
