I've spent weeks looking for the best new set I can buy. So far I have mainly had non-stick coatings. I even considered buying a full enameled cast iron set but the price is . . .well, it's just not feasible. So I turned to stainless steel and found a whole new set of things to look for in order to get the best set for the money. I didn't even know Frigidaire tableware! I actually got the 166 Amazon share version of the deal which was a steal because apart from the crappy packaging they were pretty much perfect, a small tiny dent on one soup pot and a slight crease on the inner hem. does not affect usage at all. These are heavy bottomed pots, I used most of them last weekend. Even heat distribution, nice range of sizes (largest pan is the size I would have to buy separately with other sets), and if you keep the heat on medium/low rather than high, no sticking occurs and I toasted quite a bit . one piece. All in all, I hope this set will last me a VERY long time!
