🍳 Frigidaire 11FFSPAN02 Ready Cook Stainless Steel Cookware Set, 5-Piece Review

So after watching the movie Dark Waters about the Teflon poisoning of an entire West Virginia town, I decided it was time to ditch all nonstick pans. This set is amazing. Heats evenly and cooks quickly. Just have some white vinegar ready. If something sticks, just add a few drops of T. to the soapy water and voila! Clean and shiny. This set comes highly recommended for the price.

I ordered this 3 piece set because it had the exact size pans/pots I wanted. Nice set, not flashy but definitely a workhorse. The perfect amount of heavy for the price and they heat up very well and evenly. I hand wash mine and don't store food in them and they stay like new. So easy to clean with a quick soak. I really like her!

I got these frying pans because my mom had frying pans like this that the teflon peels off. These pans certainly won't do that. However, when I was cooking bacon or other foods that required more heat, the shiny finish made the pans harder to clean as they would brown and burn. I cleaned the burnt product with a stainless steel sponge. Brown stayed. I'm sure there is a way to clean this up. Update: 02/01/2021 Read where another SS Power user said you should first heat the pan to the point where the water droplets do a hissing dance and then add the oil. Let the oil heat until it becomes slightly shiny, then it should no longer be sticky. Yes, that's exactly what I did, and the non-stick coating was still missing, the eggs stuck pretty badly. TL; DR: Great set, but make sure stainless steel is what you want. This is a quality set at a great price (I chose part 3). The handles are durable and feel natural in your hand. The curved shape of the side walls is perfect for turning food, if you like. Overall it "feels" high quality and looks like a set that will last for many years to come.
