It costs way more than I was willing to spend and wouldn't have spent as much if there was a less expensive option to replicate Save You thousands of family photos that I have inherited. However, there are no other options that can handle the different sizes, shapes, etc. of the photos I needed to archive. The learning curve for using the system is quite steep initially, but once I found a few YouTube videos that helped me and read the manual (thoroughly) I was able to figure it all out. When I started I was able to finish my project fairly quickly and the scans I got from this machine were very satisfying. The overall rating is not 5 stars due to the cost and difficulty of use when trying to scan for the first time. Those issues aside, this is a great car.
