: for me it's the ports 1-3 These 3 ports only transmit audio, no audio. When I connect the mouse directly, it doesn't work and the indicator doesn't light up. If I plug in the USB stick first and then switch to the mouse, everything works. That doesn't change the fact that the microphone doesn't work. For some reason this hub didn't work for the microphone part of my headset, but the audio part worked fine. I could hear what other people were saying, but my mic wasn't working. I didn't think it was a hub as the audio out worked fine but just the audio in didn't. After all aspects of the software were fixed, the root cause of the problem was finally isolated from the hub. It's too expensive to have any problems at all. That's a shame as this is a very compact and powerful hub.
