Potential FIRE HAZARD

I bought these garlands to hang on my Charlie Brown Christmas tree and hung them around the little guy. Worked fine the first night. The next night I adjusted the light to spiral more and when the wires (cord) touched they started smoking and burned my finger. The light didn't go out, but luckily I was able to pull out the batteries right away. These lights are just LEDs connected together with a bare wire. This reduces costs, but unfortunately also makes it unsafe. I do not recommend this product.
