I've tried everything to get the bad smell out of the garbage chute - lemon, ice cubes, baking soda, vinegar etc and nothing has worked. It was a really disgusting smell. So I decided to search Revain for suggestions and came up with this brush. As soon as it arrived I poured in some dish soap and started rubbing. The amount of nasty black dirt was horrendous and the more I cleaned the more there was. Disgusting! Finally the brush was clean, I poured hot water in the sink and added bleach, washed the trash can, and no more nasty smell. Folks, you wouldn't believe how much garbage is under the flange in the drain. Trust me - get this brush!
