Very easy to use, really gets into the dirt and loosens it. But when I pulled the brush out, I did it too quickly and the dirt spattered everywhere as the brush hit the flap. I would recommend slowly pulling the brush out and maybe even running a steady stream of water over the brush and/or opening the valve with your other hand while pulling the brush out. Dirt spattered a few meters against the wall. Cleanup took longer than disposal! giggle

Why buy stupid pills to "clean" your trash when you can REALLY clean your trash? he stirs up in the garbage. but then the brush is easy to clean and gets better with every use. The brush is very easy to clean and can even go on the top shelf of your dishwasher (although I rinse it first. Just because it's gross when it comes out of the bin). If you want to keep your disposal clean, this is a must-have tool!

Works great but works best with some preparation for disposal. Run a small stream of water into the sink, then squeeze a bottle of Dawn (or something similar) into the sink and turn on the disposer. As the detergent and water mix in the container, it will begin to foam, breaking down the grease and slime in the pit. Let it run for about 10-20 seconds and then turn off the recycle. I don't know how I survived without this wonderful brush for so long. Before ordering, I reached into the garbage disposal for a peach pit, when I removed my hand I could feel the slime on the underside of the dispenser gum, the baffle.
