This made shifting in my 2012 JK a lot more comfortable and took a lot of dirt out of the shifter. Shifting is, dare I say, sporty and crisp. I'm glad I went this route before buying a $500 transmission. This is a fairly solid replica of a B&M derailleur and is well made. As others have said it's a tight fit so the longer bolt helps pull the new derailleur on the shaft. this is a smuggler. It's about to slide. The counter nut for securing the shift ball is not required for the shift knob supplied. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
