I have bought 4 of these in the last 2.5 years. One was defective on arrival but was returned/refunded and redeemed with no problem. All 4 are still in use today. Pros: 1) Gives enough light in bright light to drive safely at the highest possible speed (30mph?). 2) 12 hours of light per charge. (10 low + 2 medium). About 1.5 at the height. Disadvantages: 1) Barrel connector can be difficult to dock. Requires more strength than my teenage children can normally handle. 2) Poor mounting system, there is no good way to achieve a solid mounting. I added velcro for extra holding power. 3) The head mount doesn't allow you to direct the light high enough, for example to the horizon, when the user is standing upright. Warning; This flashlight is more likely to fail due to overheating if left at high power with no airflow or heatsink for cooling. I can't speak to its durability, but for the casual cyclist, you won't find a better $21 flashlight anywhere. eclipses $20 store lighting.
