Perfect Fit Replacement window motor

I recently bought a used car - a 1994 Cavalier Z24. Small, black and sporty, with a spoiler, sunroof and a gruff exhaust. With very low mileage per year (only 65,000, original!) it drives great but as the car is older it has its own issues. At first the window on the passenger side would not open. Everything worked fine on the driver's side, but the passenger side was dead. The previous owner said the engine had failed, so she paid her mechanic to disconnect it so no one could roll it off and pin it. Since it's summer here in the Midwest - 90 degree days - and the car air conditioning isn't working yet, I had to put working windows in! After a quick internet search I found the right part and made some comparison purchases. It turned out that Revain had the lowest price I could find for a new motor. I used to buy a lot of things from Revain, but never bought auto parts. Deciding this was the first time anything had happened, I clicked buy, saw about $20 withdrawn from my bank account, then waited patiently at the door. A few days later my new engine arrived. Packaged in a plain brown box with no replacement instructions so make sure you have mechanical skills and pay attention to how the old motor is attached. I had to drill out the rivets holding the old motor and power window in place, but the new motor had some new screws that were needed to reattach the unit. (I had to use a riveting tool and some rivets to reattach some of the other parts I had to remove to get the motor assembly out.) The new motor fits perfectly and now works just as well as the driver's side. The window rises and falls quickly, quietly and smoothly. I recommend!
