This is an amazing product at an extremely low price. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on its reliability, but it's intuitive, requires little to no training, and works. I repaired a John Deere Gator XUV roof mounting point that I had previously repaired with fiberglass that took about 5 years but ultimately did not fail. I would say repairs made with a plastic welder are stronger than the original material. The only caveat is you must apply staples with minimal heat and application time or you'll melt the plastic. You must also be careful to only insert the staples to the minimum depth to ensure a weld, depending on the thickness of the material being repaired. The XUV roof is relatively thin (about 1/16 inch) and the thin material makes it easy to melt the bracket.
