I love this kettle! After using it for a while, I found that for the best bloom, you only need to fill the kettle halfway, boil water, THEN put the flower down (once the water boils), and then you should see how the flower changes opens fairly quickly. Once it opens you have to wait until it's almost as strong as you want and then add colder/less hot water to slow it down so it doesn't get too strong. The kettle itself seemed small when I received it, but it's actually the perfect size! I can place it anywhere on my desk or coffee table. I love the whole set! The glass is very durable and dishwasher safe. I haven't been gentle with it either, but it's a very durable material. I bought several tea lights with a longer burn time than the ones in the kit and they burn for about 6 hours. Overall a great purchase!
