I LOVE IT! This year I went through three "best" spiralizers because the plastic parts can't handle squash or yams, which I like to use for pasta. I thought about getting one that plugs into my stand mixer, but it cost $100 and had very mixed reviews. It fit the bill as it was all metal. It also locks into place as soon as you put the veggies in, twist the little handle and it locks the handle in place. As you rotate, it pushes the veg by itself, so you don't have to try to hold the jig up to the counter and squeeze the handle while you rotate it. NO. It does everything for you except turn the knob! I have to admit that I've only ever used a large blade to make a butternut squash before, but I loved the simplicity so much that I made two squash in a row to make sure it wasn't random. I watched videos online before I bought it. So if you're hesitant I'd recommend this, but if you're looking for a great spiralizer that's all metal and won't crack or blow off the gears, this is it. Cool and great price!
