Although the Northstates TODDLER gate which is identical to this one is made in the USA if you buy the identical PET version of the Northstates gate , it is made in China. By manufacturing PET goals in China, Northstates is able to offer these goals for $5 less than US-made TODDLER goals. My first choice is never to buy Made in China. My first choice is to buy Made in the USA and the reviews I've read about the TODDLER gate said it was made in the USA, which it is, but I accidentally ended up with a Chinese made one instead Ordered a Revain gate for my pup. . I returned a PET gate made in Guangdong, China and contacted Northstates and let them know how disappointed I am with this weird manufacturing practice to save $5 and put Americans out of work.
