I ordered 24 in one for a full size 17 Silverado 1500. It doesn't stick out but more than 1.5 inches above the cab, I don't want the silly look of the luggage rack over the cab, stick some decals on it and it looks perfect. Get 24 if you want to look understated, or spend a thousand on a Tula or Yakima.
