A few weeks ago my wife gave me a 4K portable touchscreen monitor and it was great. Because of this, I decided to buy another 4K portable monitor just for office use. I don't really need a touchscreen in the office, so this AZMIOR 4k portable monitor fits my needs. The package arrived quickly despite the pandemic. Packed like a laptop. In the box you will find 2 USB-C cables, a mini HDMI adapter, a HDMI to mini HDMI cable, a 45W USB-C PD wall adapter, a screen protector, a magnetic flip case and a monitor. The monitor itself feels very high quality. It is very durable and does not bend easily. The brushed aluminum surface feels very comfortable and looks luxurious. After setting it up and running it, I settled on a max resolution of 4K with 175% text/app scaling, which is perfect for squinting-free office work. The texts are very crisp and clear, I can put 2 apps side by side and still work comfortably. Watching movies and TV shows on this monitor is amazing, the colors are vibrant (with some manual adjustments) and the images look so real, they're about to jump off the screen. The speakers on the back are nice to have, they sound like a typical laptop speaker, great for casual listening and watching videos. I like the matte screen as it eliminates glare and reflections and makes it viewable from almost any angle. For content creation, video/image editing, there is more to ask. At 100% sRGB gamut, you may need to calibrate the screen a little more to get more accurate colors. But you also shouldn't be editing content on a small screen, so that shouldn't be an obstacle for all other purposes. I tested this on different devices and they worked fine. Windows and Mac OS worked without major problems. Although in some rare cases the screen may go black when you adjust some advanced settings on the monitor, all you have to do is disconnect and reconnect the device. I'm not sure if it's related to the graphics card driver or the firmware, but after reconnecting it's still working great. But for all default settings, everything works perfectly. For mobile, I tested this on both iOS and Android and it was great. On iOS you may get black bars on the sides as they don't scale with external displays. But for Android, you can get the full desktop from your mobile device. Using the Dex feature on Samsung phones is similar to working on a PC. Mobile games are good too, response time is fast (may depend on your mobile device's processing power). It's a great accessory for mobile gamers to give you a more immersive experience. Speaking of gaming, I also tested this with a Playstation 4 and while I prefer big screens for console gaming, this monitor delivers images so crisp that you'll enjoy hours of gaming. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. It might be a bit more expensive compared to other full-size monitors, but that's how technology is valued: the smaller, the more expensive it gets. If you are looking for a portable 4K monitor, this product should be at the top of your list.
