My tap water is heavily chlorinated at around 420 ppm. After passing water through this filter, the water concentration is approximately 3 parts per million. Amazing results! The hose adapter is great! I fill my barrel with reverse osmosis water and use it to irrigate my vegetable garden. Good start = good exit. I also use it for my son's turtle slinky. Slinky gives the water 2 thumbs up. It's a little slow, so if you need a lot of tap water, you might want to consider other options. If you want to use it for your sink, you'll need more hardware.
