My favorite thing about Fish & Aquatic Pets is

I am an avid fish and shrimp lover. And for exotic shrimp, they should have water that is as clean as possible. This thing is small, easy to set up, and requires no power. It has only one hose connection, in winter you should not use the hose or risk freezing the pipes. So just come to Lowe and buy a hose adapter for your faucet aerator. It costs about $4. The output is slow but steady and in WA after the TDS reads about 110 or so from the faucet after going through the reverse osmosis unit it…

Best value for money Reverse osmosis drinking water

My tap water is heavily chlorinated at around 420 ppm. After passing water through this filter, the water concentration is approximately 3 parts per million. Amazing results! The hose adapter is great! I fill my barrel with reverse osmosis water and use it to irrigate my vegetable garden. Good start = good exit. I also use it for my son's turtle slinky. Slinky gives the water 2 thumbs up. It's a little slow, so if you need a lot of tap water, you might want to consider other options. If you…

Works well - same as

. Does what it's supposed to and gives me 0ppm water versus my 270ppm tap water. However, I also bought this unit for its 75 gallon per day rating and figured I could get 10 gallons in about 3 hours. However, it takes about 3 1/2 hours to get 5 gallons, so preparing enough water for a water change becomes an ordeal for the whole day, which is annoying unless you start early in the morning since you have to wait. when you want to stop filling. This was needed for my reef tank so I'm slower…

Great product for aquarists

This is a solid reverse osmosis unit that performs very well for the price. The fact that it is portable made this unit an obvious choice for me as I didn't want to mess with the plumbing and install the unit under the sink. The water comes out great and my fish and shrimp are now in a more natural environment that cannot be recreated by simply adding peat moss. If you have large tanks, you may need more power than this reverse osmosis system provides. I only have tanks up to 20 gallons myself,

Awesome device though.

love love love it. Ice and snow make transport by water expensive and extremely difficult. Now I make my own saltwater and freshwater. The inhabitants of my reef aquarium (mainly corals) are thriving. It connects easily, doesn't leak, and works as quickly as expected. After purchasing this item and a reason less star: I placed a second order from the same seller and received 2 tracking numbers. I didn't realize they were the same #. I ended up accidentally throwing away another item along with…
