Bought this while looking for a waffle maker and found the panini press to be a nice feature. I've used both of these features but haven't used a griddle yet. Pros: + Versatile + Easy to clean + Simple usage concept Cons - Smell of burnt plastic - Power cord gets hot (I'm sure it's bad, although I have no electrical engineering experience) - Heats up unevenly for a panini press and a waffle iron. This allows you to only cook one panini at a time in the center of the burner and the waffles will be "well done" in the center between the two waffle plates. The recommended cooking temperature and time recommendations will cause scorching. Waffles. I've found that 400f for 7 minutes at least ensures you don't consume raw waffle batter as opposed to the suggested 425f for 7-9 minutes. I don't think I would buy it again given the choice.
