I don't like that they get dirty and burn easily, I'll buy them a second time. The top plate of the grill always stains, but the bottom plate does not. I couldn't remove the stains. Only thing I like is that it cooks food well, just wish it was actually non-stick.

I've tried quite a few GF grills over the years and love them. I will say when they switched from nonstick to griddle to these ceramic I wasn't a fan. I'm still not a fan as they don't clean up as easily as they should. But since my grill was still working, it was great to be able to buy a set of replacement grill plates instead of buying a brand new grill. But I will never be a fan of ceramic coatings.

I have been using ceramic griddles for 4 years and I am very satisfied with them. The key to any non-stick surface is never to use dish soap or a dishwasher to clean it. All you need is hot water and a soft brush. When I cook low-fat food, I wipe down the plates with pure canola oil to keep the food from sticking. If I forget or misjudge the fat content, I soak the plate and wipe it off in the morning. Very satisfied and I get a backup kit.

This part of the grill is great for pancakes, omelettes or anything else. The food doesn't stick to it, but I still add some Pam just in case. I love that this plate is dishwasher safe. Being able to just rinse it out and put it in the dishwasher means I'm more likely to use it. The food cooks quickly and evenly. However, I would recommend washing it before use. This does not reflect the product, just that it is wrapped in plastic and smells if not washed before first use.

Great for pancakes. Simply dice/roll the potatoes in a spiral, squeeze the potato juice, salt and pepper, pour some olive oil over it and let it cook (about 400 degrees for 30 minutes). Bought this while looking for a waffle maker and found the panini press to be a nice feature. I've used both of these features but haven't used a griddle yet. Just wanted to write a quick review so people know that ceramic griddles do fit the GRP90WGR grill. I bought the grill in 2010 and the non-stick coating has slowly fallen behind the two plates that I use most of the time. So I ordered these ceramics even though some people said they didn't fit.
