I have a lot of bikes so I spend a lot of time with different handlebar mounts. It works very well, but there is something to complain about. First, a wider handlebar clamp would be desirable. The bracket is suitable for a bell or a spotlight, but for a phone it needs to be a bit wider, maybe even with two screws. This mount needs to be able to handle a lot of rotational force and I know I'll use the clamp screw and plastic restraints to tighten it properly. I suggest putting a layer of double sided rubber tape on the handlebars where you want this thing to attach. Second, you need to pay attention to the swivel mount. This is a simple (and small) plastic thumbscrew with a steel threaded insert. This is the type of part that loses vibration over time. It holds up pretty well, but I recommend a drop of medium-strength threadlock to ensure it stays in place for a long time. The actual phone holding mechanism includes four spindle arms, all of which retract to grip the phone on all four corners. It works well! I am very sure that my mobile phone will not fall into the next hole. Definitely safer than silicone strap retainers. The mount also comes with custom-made foam pads of varying thicknesses to support the bottom of the phone when it's thin. I didn't need it because my phone is thick and has a case, which by the way isn't a problem with this mount. What I don't like is the click wheel under the middle of the base. This wheel is used to tighten the levers, but it's not easy to reach when the phone is in place. Also, the latch is on a corner of the base and you need to look for it to return the phone. So far, this holder sits behind Delta's "Smart" and GUB Plus 6 phone holders, which are easier to use and better designed. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it offers a solid mount at a reasonable price.
