A few years ago I bought a S'move stabilizer for over $200. i hated it He was ponderous, difficult to understand and demanding. I've spent hours on YouTube trying to find best practices for this thing. In the end, this stupid thing broke outside the warranty window, and the company didn't replace it. Then I came across this stabilizer. It arrived today and I've been playing with it for the past two hours. Yes, it's mostly plastic construction, but it's strong enough for my work. I love how compact it is; It fits in my backpack much easier than the Smove. And how does it work? Really damn good. You get the smove features (camera stabilization, panning buttons) along with a built-in "video" button on the remote (the video smove button never worked for me). For $30+ I'm VERY impressed. minuses? You need to charge the gimbal and remote control. I do like the mini remote though, as long as I don't lose it. The gimbal has a tight remote jack so I don't see that. All in all I would happily buy this again. I am impressed.
