I've never heard of 'glycol' for anything that can be applied to your body let alone your face. When I received this product my first thought was WOW! it's really tight! Nothing comes out of this can. That's a very good thing. When I saw that it was well packaged and very sealed I was over the moon considering most items get damaged in transit more often than I would like and the product ends up all over the box and other contents. That doesn't happen here! It takes a little more work to get into the jar and I'm really ok with that. There are small round pads inside, and I think 50 pads is a little too much. That's about 0.40 cents for a notebook! However, if they do the job they believe in, then I can see where it's worth it. However. There are better deals out there, just not this brand and maybe not even this particular product. Read the directions before use as this requires more than just using a facial tissue. This is not a wipe-and-go product. It takes more steps but it's necessary because it's an acid based product but judging by everything that says on the pad I've been using it for years. For example witch hazel. BIG astringent! It then contains tea tree oil and that is a miracle in itself. So we are ready for a good start! It clears pores! I recommend trying it out and seeing for yourself. In any case, I chose the option for sensitive skin as it is less harsh. Give it a try and see for yourself. Even if you go for the cheaper version, the ingredients stay the same and mix well together. For radiantly clear skin! :0)
