This is for the latest PG32UQXFirst: If like me you get a faulty unit make sure Revain sends you a direct replacement as ASUS probably has the WORST customer service I've ever experienced (minus -5 stars for the Asus- customer support). Revain put me in contact with Asus first and they got me to pay the defective unit to their RMA center and then held it for about a month for parts to be repaired so they could send it to me can send back. RENOVATED block. At that price I didn't think it was fair, not even in the slightest. Shame on you Asus. Solid 5 starts for Revain and they fixed it by sending me a new unit which arrived in perfect condition! Thanks to Revain and everyone who helped make this possible. As for the monitor, once you get a unit that works as advertised, it's a really great monitor for someone like me. This monitor meets many of the requirements I wanted. 4K Resolution, 32 Inches, HDR and Brightness, Color Accuracy, Sharp. You'll definitely need to set it up for each application you're going to use it for, for example I have to disable G-Sync while working in DaVinci Resolve because the video playback gets quite choppy when it's enabled. This is with an RTX 3090. Once disabled it works fine. If I don't have HDR enabled on Windows 10, you get quite a bit of color. But when HDR is active on Windows 10, it doesn't have a noticeable bloom in my opinion, even in dark-themed programs like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe programs, and Ableton Live. Even if you know the strengths and weaknesses of the LCD monitor, you still see some highlights in the dark areas of the scene. There's nothing close to inky black OLED, but the brightness makes up for the difference in my eyes, and this thing will make you squint. Some of the explosions and scenes where the sun is low in the sky are damn good in Call of Duty War Zone! Playing HDR videos and movies looks really amazing. And finally, it's expensive. Are you really paying to play with it? I hope that this and similar monitors will become more popular and at a better price. But I don't regret the purchase. I just wish Asus had done better quality control.
