Channellock became the standard for pliers so there was no question which brand I would choose if I needed a larger size. They are huge, although not their largest size. I especially needed mine because they are great for removing nuts from Kohler toilets, which are set into a patented rubber gasket. These pliers remove nuts in seconds without damaging the gasket. I reviewed the V-jaw version of the 420 but settled on it because the V-jaw version's tips aren't exactly aligned, which is what I need most. Channellock 460s are the real deal and will take years of use and abuse.
