A few bad things: - the settings interface is inconvenient and confusing; - there is no map of my region in the delivery, there was only one map of some Chinese area, the maps are SOLD separately, their quality is unknown, so I had to look for where to get the map for free and how to install it; - there is no map update function, this must be done manually as needed; - battery readings are buggy if the device is not turned off completely, but put into sleep mode; - the most unpleasant thing is that when updating, many new functions are added that are not needed in 100% of cases, but at the same time they are turned on by default, and after updating on the route, you sometimes have to stop and look for how to turn off the interfering new option (see the first paragraph). Update 1: Garmin posted maps for Russia on their website with download instructions. When I bought my device, this was not. Update 2: After another firmware update, my Edge 1030 went into a looping reboot. In my city I did not find anyone who would undertake to repair, including official dealers refused. I had to send it for repair to a third-party service in Moscow.
