Review on Garmin 🗺️ Nuvi 50LM GPS Navigator by Lagant Wardrick

I bought my wife a Garmin Nuvi 50LM for Christmas 2012 as she mentioned that she wanted GPS for her travels. I did some research and decided on this brand and model based on the positive reviews and life cards. To be honest I thought I would never use this thing but she wanted it so I bought it for her. Well we had a chance to test it out on a recent trip to Maine and I have to say I'm very impressed. Margot, as we called her, did a great job getting us to our destination and was very helpful when we were driving on back roads and had no idea where we were. I stopped and punched in the number of the house on the street we were on and punched in the address of the restaurant we were going to have dinner at and Margot took us there in one tap and I can't fault her blame that. . There was a small stretch of road that looked like it had recently been turned into a one-way street, so we just followed the signs and got off where we were supposed to. And Margot was never absent. She cleaned everything up and gave us directions from the diversion to the restaurant without bothering about us (no, she doesn't say RECALCULATE as rudely as I've heard from some navigation systems. The trip turned out fine). And I have to say the Garmin worked really well and I highly recommend it. one more thing There were times when I didn't know what the speed limit was because I didn't see a sign, but this device tells you to display the speed limit of the road you're on while also showing your actual speed on. I found this very accurate and believe it saved me from a ticket when the speed limit went from 50mph to 25mph. I immediately slowed down and slowed down and there was the local police sitting by the side of the road waiting for an unsuspecting stater like me. But Margot saved my ass. She deserves a 5 star rating.
