Everything is OK. That's all.

I've had it for about a month now and these are the pros and cons for me. because it can be quite annoying. • It seems to recalculate much faster than my old Nuvi model. • Up-to-date information on local POIs such as restaurants and shops. • There are several free voices and vehicles that are better than those installed on your device. Disadvantages: • This device does NOT say street names! • The touch screen does not respond very well. You must press firmly and/or multiple times for it to…

So many problems! on GPS, Finder and Accessories

I bought this to replace an old Magellan GPS we had. I don't remember the model number because we've had it for many years and we thought it was time to update his. I'm really unhappy with the upgrade after our first trip. Problems we had: 1. Doesn't understand that we are on the road we should be on, sometimes when we were on the freeway, instead he pointed us to the road next to the freeway and started recalculating or not to register the turn until then until after we had to turn somewhere…

Better than I expected!

I bought my wife a Garmin Nuvi 50LM for Christmas 2012 as she mentioned that she wanted GPS for her travels. I did some research and decided on this brand and model based on the positive reviews and life cards. To be honest I thought I would never use this thing but she wanted it so I bought it for her. Well we had a chance to test it out on a recent trip to Maine and I have to say I'm very impressed. Margot, as we called her, did a great job getting us to our destination and was very helpful…

Far superior to my factory 2015 Toyota Navigation System

I have a new 2015 Toyota. The Garmin unit sits on a $1,500 factory navigation system. I started using car navigation systems in 1998. I estimate I've used about 30 different systems. This does not include the ones I used as a pilot. (By the way, if you want the BEST car navigation system, buy a Honda.) You see, Toyota's factory navigation system is dangerous in my opinion. In Toyota Nav, the PASSENGER cannot enter an address while the vehicle is moving. Voice recognition is terrible. So, with a

I really hear it!

I had several GPS navigators that family members e.g. B. my children, leaked. They were fine but I could never hear what they were saying even when the radio was very low. It stinks when you drive long distances. Just received this and trying to get mail out of the mailbox in my truck. I know it sounds weird, but my mailbox is almost 1/4 mile from the end of my driveway. I turned on the radio at normal volume and thought of an imaginary place to go to watch it. It has a volume control which I…

  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear

This is my second Garmin device. Both were reliable and accurate. I've owned it for a few years and will now review it again because Revane reminded me that I've never posted a review. Either way, this is one of the most rewarding purchases I've ever made. I've used this to navigate San Jose, San Francisco, Denver, and other locations. It always gets me exactly where I need to go and has accurate information about intersections, lanes, one-way streets and speed limits. I was in France recently.

My first GPS unit and I'm impressed

I've been procrastinating on getting a GPS for a long time and after careful consideration and reading many reviews I decided to go with this one. I'm glad I did. I'm now a recognized 'gadget freak' and have been playing with electronic toys for many years and this is a great toy. It works really well and I found it amazingly accurate and fun to use. For those who need to find new or unfamiliar places while driving, GPS makes life much easier and this model seems very functional. As this is my…
