Review on Garmin 🗺️ Nuvi 50LM GPS Navigator by Sean Burnett

I bought this to replace an old Magellan GPS we had. I don't remember the model number because we've had it for many years and we thought it was time to update his. I'm really unhappy with the upgrade after our first trip. Problems we had: 1. Doesn't understand that we are on the road we should be on, sometimes when we were on the freeway, instead he pointed us to the road next to the freeway and started recalculating or not to register the turn until then until after we had to turn somewhere else.2. Satellite reception was lost many times.3. Routes were randomly recalculated, we drove as we were told and the passenger looked ahead a couple of turns and then the route changed for no reason.4. It literally had us driving in circles around New Haven. Four right turns in a row, after the second time I drove through some random streets to keep him counting straight.5. When trying to find gas stations he only showed us what was behind us and didn't say anything about how we were driving, once he did the same for restaurants. It's just weird, I don't want to turn back to fill up, I want something on the way! In other cases, the point of interest worked as expected.6. It doesn't ring when it needs to turn like our old GPS did. If there is a setting for this, I haven't found it yet. I've always liked this because if I missed the street our sat nav told me to turn onto, it at least rang the bell to let me know to turn.7. Sometimes it tells us 3 or 4 times which turn or exit is coming, many times we just get a quick turn/exit alert. There are a few other little things I could list, but I think that's enough. I am very upset that I bought a new GPS (even after reading the reviews!) and so many problems with it.
