Review on πŸ’§ Danco 88200 MX-1 Chrome Cartridge - Perfect for Mixet Single-Handle Faucets by Greg Quinit

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Didn't work for me, instead I used Lasco S-815-3 (0503) to fix the leak.

Would love to have that back in Revain but I've been trying to install it. I have read many reviews advising us not to go to the big stores because we can only find cheap replacements that don't last long. Well, that Danko didn't work. live and learn My house was built in 96. I like to think I have post 1968 Mixet stems in my house. My stem said it was part of a Genunie Mixet but there was no part number. That part of Danko didn't work. Luckily, Ace is only a block away. They had takeaways both before and after 1968. Preview takes much longer than post and is twice as expensive. The part I bought was a Lasco S-815-3 (0503) "New Style Single Lever Cartridge". I couldn't mount it so that the brass ring would fit snugly on the tube. The Lasco stem went in straight and flush like it should. All tightened (red dot above if you want hot water on the right) and there is no leak.
