So this review is from an initial installation on a 2020 f-150 with a fold out liner. There are no guidelines, but common sense helps. A few YouTube videos of a similar product will also help. The first problem I had was the locking clasp didn't line up with the holes in the truck. It's okay if you have a vice. 2nd problem, you have to remove the rear light, no big deal but you have to use the 2 big holes already in the bed for the light. The top hole isn't that easy to get to, so flip it bold. I had to cut the body skin in several places and remove or reverse the bottom mounting hook in the back of the truck. Everything was prepared and I wasn't thrilled that you had to use a padlock so nobody could take it off the hinge and walk away. I just put extra screws over the hinges to stop it. Biggest point of criticism is that only 1 key was included. The plastic is cheaper than mine so I don't have high hopes for it. I also got the driver's side, but I can return it until I can prove that the box is worth it.
