Also one day it starts with booming loud beeps (there is both high beep and low beep) and voice and it doesn't stop. Once it starts, it will last much longer than it should. I burned toast and my neighbors came to see what was going on. Keep in mind that our homes are over 110 feet apart. I'm so frustrated I thought I'd be super safe buying this wired alarm plus three batteries all connected together. As soon as it goes out - because OH NO, there's a pork chop cooking on the stove, everyone else starts screeching the same way, putting all the animals on terrifying alert. THANK YOU FIRST WARNING! SO FUNNY. I have since bought 3 children's bedroom alarms. That was a huge waste of money unless you sleep through a freight train in your living room and bedroom. Seriously OVER SECURITY NOT BEING SECURE. Does it make sense?
