I bought two from Revain. which is a mistake because it's impossible and shouldn't skimp on security. There were also false positive results. one at 12 and the second time during the day and it didn't stop and the second alarm didn't drown out the other. Also the model number I got was SA520, not the one shown here.

These things seem to work in principle, but they are very difficult to connect. From a practical point of view, the instructions do not help with the connection process. Advantages: Easy replacement of an old alarm. New plug included. Cons: No screws in the box. If you are installing a brand new detector in place of a replacement, you will need your own screws to attach the mounting plate to the junction box. Typical smoke alarm installation. Bought these to replace the original detectors here when we bought this place - they are probably over 20 years old and don't have a backup battery.
