
I think if you are on a budget and using a Lansky system this is the stone to have. Be sure to use oil, it gives you longer life (don't apply too much pressure) and it removes material from a ton of steels like S35V and below without eating your stone. This leaves a nice jagged edge for steels like M4 that like to dig in when cut and don't have a high gloss finish.
