The product itself is ok. The problem is that there are no instructions on how to assemble it, specifically that behind the steel you see is another steel at crazy angles you can't see. So you start drilling expecting to drill a nice straight hole and you end up hitting a corner piece that you can't see and your hole is a total mess. And anyone who hasn't seen an open tailgate never knows where to drill holes. Wherever you mount, it's just a layer of thick sheet metal that damn flexes when you put stress on the thing. I thought it would be a good desktop, but I think all it's good for is a laptop. I would send it back if I could, but now when I take it off the back door it looks crappy. So I'm keeping it.
