I have two crazy dogs: a Mini Aussie and Border Collie mix. Due to the frequent zooms and high number indoors in winter, we chose a leather sofa. All dog hair and skin repels the smell, but when the nail inevitably pricks I don't have to cry in the shower for a while. However, our couch is getting gross FAST. Dirty paws, a husband who seems to miss his mouth more when he's snacking, and an equally awkward self at wine thirty means I wipe down that stupid couch a few times a week. This is where these things come into play. About once a week I spray and wipe down the sofa and spills and odors aren't an issue for the next few cleanings. The smell is a little chemical and weird, but I'm not worried about my couch being sniffed. My mother in law lives 6 hours away.
