It took me about 20 minutes to install. The instructions are fairly easy to understand for those who can follow the simple steps and look at the pictures. I have a large truck so I was concerned that the cable that came with it wouldn't be enough, but it just did! Be sure to watch a video or two that shows how to run a wire from the outside of the car in without looking silly. I had a small panel that I could remove through the firewall and place right under the steering wheel. The picture quality is very good! Definitely able to see everything you need. Of course, for $30 you're not paying for 4k, but the on-screen guides and overall resolution seem perfectly acceptable to me. I would recommend NOT connecting the camera to the reversing lights as removing the weather shield and checking that everything is working properly can be a chore. There's a button on the plug that goes into your lighters that you can just turn on whenever you want to turn the camera on so it's not ALWAYS on. I really like this product, just buy it!
