I wanted this because some PS2 games don't scale well on new TVs. It was easy to install, less than 5 minutes. I will use Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as an example. On the title screen, in front of all the boot images, there's a lot of fine print that's almost impossible to read due to the TV's scaling. It is fuzzy and has fuzzy edges that make it impossible to read. I hooked up this bad boy and was able to read every word with crystal clarity! The only complaint I have is that the graphics are sharper overall and the edges are sharper, and distant objects in games now have a slightly too sharp texture model. I don't know if they've always been there and you couldn't tell because the quality looked crappy, but other than that it looks really good! Now I can finally read playing card symbols! This is a cheap solution and works great. 9/10!
