Review on ADVENOR Motorized Treadmill: Foldable 2.5 HP Electric Running Machine For Indoor Fitness With Incline by Bill Wasson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Awesome! Love it! for my opinion

Over the past few months I have been slowly amassing an assortment of exercise equipment preparing for the inevitable closure of gyms (again). An avid gym goer I frequented the gym 4-5 times a week pre Corona. I have quite a bit of equipment and machines at home now. Because I already own some expensive pieces such as a Stairmaster, stationary bike, and barbell weights, I did not want to invest too much money on a treadmill. I was looking for a very simple yet effective model. I was hesitant about purchasing such an item online, but I figured Ebay is great with returns so I should be okay. Also I purchased the 2 year service plan by Asurion. I completed lengthy research because there are so many options. I wanted a folding model to conserve space. Other options either had ridiculous mandatory features such as ifit or horrible customer service reviews (even big name companies). For my usage purposes, I see absolutely no reason to need anything like ifit. I construct my own training sessions and don't follow programs and all I really need for a work out are my Beats, heart rate monitor, and old school training journal. I was familiar with this company because I ordered their weight bench recently. I love the bench so I figured I'd try the treadmill. The treadmill was extremely easy to set up. It is very sturdy and constructed well. I like that when you release it from the folded up position to the walking position it is a slow release. much less danger of accidently crushing a pet or your feet! I haven't really played around with the programs but the console is exactly what I wanted: a way to simply track calories and distance. I like that it has controls on the arm rests too. It runs pretty quietly. I am a petite person (5'4' and petite build) and the machine is a perfect size. I don't know if the size would be adequate for a larger individual as there is a weight limit of 220 lbs and also the width is not the same as a standard teadmill. I don't intend to run on the machine as I prefer steady state cardio- walking at a moderate to fast pace. Because of this I cannot attest to how well the machine will hold up for running. The only suggestions I have so far is to find a way to turn off the beeping noise when you press start or stop and to enclose the back of the control panel so the wires are completely covered. But those are minor cosmetic suggestions. The most important thing is how the machine runs and so far great! I will update this review as necessary. Oh yeah, it was packaged very securely and the toolkit it came with was very handy. There's also a video on YouTube for set up instructions. I would recommend 2 people complete the set up because the machine is heavy.
