Installed these over factory racks for 4 years. During that time I hit a truck, towed it, and plowed it. They did exactly what you would expect, but in hindsight I wish I had just made the right height adjustable shocks. After 4 years my pillion shock broke so I switched to Bilstein and what's the difference, same looks just much better ride and handling. Also, the spacers began to break out of where the rack stands. Like I said, they do what they say, but that's the wrong way.
