According to DanQ, Anderson Powerpole Connector assembly instructions are great for this quick connection. I used a Hobart 770122 Lug Crimper to crimp the contacts. After connecting the two ends of the connector, I could not remove/disconnect them by pulling on the plastic ends. I had to pull the cables to disconnect them. I added some dielectric grease to the pins and it made stripping easier. I'm using this on a 13.8V 50A power supply with 6 AWG wires. I keep a tube of dielectric grease with my power supply, so I always remember to put some grease on the contacts before each use.
