This is an updated review - I'm very sorry. While what is below is the original rating in terms of usefulness and they are still very useful, their usefulness is uncompromising, decorative, after a few months the colors have smeared and bled and the blue part has popped out and I don't manage to put it back on. TIP: If you're buying a new set, apply clear nail polish or spritz with an acrylic topping spray (if you have it on hand) to protect the color. Aesthetics concern me. And I'm sad to compromise them. The design is fun, but the strong fridge magnets mean you can store it in a handy place so your scissors are always close at hand - the case is useful, not just decorative. Scissors cut well, the size is good. Excellent purchase.
