So a much better design than the first gen I own. It has a better installation method and is more suitable for the echo point. But there are 3 main problems: First, 1) the decorative grille placed on top of the case vibrates and randomly falls to the ground. or in our case. our HEAD! 2) Unlike the first generation: Mine did NOT include a power strip or mini RCA input cable to connect to my Echo. 3) The sound quality is still poor. Put an echo dot in a coffee can, turn on the music and you're done. But in my case, I connect my Echo to an external speaker using a mini-RCA cable (mini-RCA cable is not included), so poor sound quality isn't an issue for me. So if you plan on using your Echo to play music. it's not perfect. I am reluctant to recommend this product.
