For nebulizing while sleeping. I use what Miro calls silencers, which also direct the mist and control the air intake. Everything converges/disconnects. Tools are not required. It's very easy to deep clean all non-electronic components, which is almost everything. The smoke machine is easy to clean with a Clorox cloth. The style is Modern/Mid-Century, which happens to be our style, but that's a matter of taste. I can't comment on reliability as it has had limited use.
