I really like my debut B6 Elac but I wanted a little different sound and maybe better sound quality. Without making Elacs feel bad, they are good at labeling crates. Slightly more dynamic, higher pitched, wider soundstage. The horn doesn't scream, the mids aren't restrained, the bass isn't overwhelming or anemic. It goes well with rock, blues, jazz or classical. Live acoustic recordings are played indoors. Great with a good digital but better with a decent vinyl setup. Really efficient. Emotiva a300 is not really needed but they will take it and make a lot of power. To update; I listen to them for a while. Mostly vinyl with some digital and film/television. They settled down and made themselves comfortable. Really great value for money in budget hi-fi. Livelier than my favorite elac (still a great speaker) and without the usual offensive qualities that sometimes plague horn speakers. These clips won't disappoint if you've got dough, and if you don't have one, get spandex.
