I am a welder who works in harsh environments with multiple welding processes (SMAW, MIG, TIG, Plasma etc.) on a daily basis. The dimming range is absolutely ideal for any type of process. It even has a grinding mode which is very useful. This helmet is fantastic, especially for the price! The sensitivity is adjustable and extremely sensitive, so that even if you are not looking directly at the welding process, the screen is automatically dimmed (depending on the setting). It's durable, flexible and lightweight. I have no complaints about this helmet and would recommend it to anyone.
