They make great backyard training balls for young and old players alike. I can throw them to my son knowing I'm not changing our windows or the neighbors'. They also help with power and get young players just learning to swing the ball THROUGH - many beginners tend to stall on contact and that ball will force you to swing or it will bounce the racquet back. I bought one at my local sporting goods store and was planning to buy a few more. We bought a six pack here and shared it with a teammate to save money.
