I read a lot of reviews before buying so here are my thoughts. Firstly, I have been crocheting for many years. I've always used slim aluminum hooks and they are so comfortable to hold compared to the old ones, that's a plus. Light is a great idea but I'm not sure if it makes much of a difference, you still need light to see well. I started with a 2.5mm hook and it feels a bit flimsy like it's about to break, but if you're a little careful you'll be fine. It came charged and I've been using it for 5-6 hours and haven't charged it yet. The case is very good, a place for everything. Overall I wouldn't say don't buy it, but I would say you'd be fine if you buy ergonomic hooks. I think I'll probably keep it and add it to my many other hooks. UPDATE: I just broke a 2.5mm hook and thought I'd be careful. I made an amigurumi turtle and started another one and then it broke. I still haven't used any other hooks and haven't charged it yet, it's still running on the original charger.
