I have a 2006 Ford F-150 and have had to repair the window in some form several times. This is very annoying. This time I decided to order and install the part myself. I've read some questionable reviews about mis-wiring or other issues, but this part has worked great for me so far. The big question, of course, is how long will it last? I'll update this review if it breaks within 18 months or so, otherwise I'm happy. I saved a lot of money, time and headaches by ordering it from Revain and fixing it myself. There are several videos on YouTube showing how to do it. As with any job, I would recommend taking photos along the way in case you end up with any extra parts or equipment left over. Also, I had to stop and buy a set of deep sockets which I think are needed for a screw. That being said, there are different screw sizes and you'll need a screwdriver to pry off some parts, but that's about it. It's worth it. Basically, don't take it to the store for this part.
